The Moses Mabhida Stadium Durban was built for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. The construction costs amounted to 450 million euros. During the tournament, seven matches were played in the arena.
Football club AmaZulu F.C. plays its home games in the stadium with an average attendance of 5,000 people. The capacity of the stadium is 55,500 seats.
